Type 2 Diabetes is one of the most common metabolic conditions and is often linked to lifestyle factors such as diet, physical inactivity, and weight gain. Unlike Type 1, the body still produces insulin, but it does not use it effectively. Early diagnosis and lifestyle changes can significantly slow disease progression.

Dietary control is the foundation of Type 2 Diabetes management. Reducing refined carbohydrates, increasing fiber intake, and choosing nutrient-dense foods help regulate blood sugar levels. Portion control and consistent meal timing further support glucose stability.

Regular physical activity improves insulin sensitivity and assists with weight management. Activities such as brisk walking, swimming, or light strength training can greatly improve blood sugar control when done consistently.

In some cases, medication or insulin may be required, but lifestyle modification remains the most powerful tool. With proper management, many individuals successfully control Type 2 Diabetes and reduce the risk of long-term complications affecting the heart, kidneys, and nerves.
